    The membership year commences on 1st January and ends on 31st December each year. Membership comes into effect upon receipt of the membership payment by the ELS.
    Choose which membership best suits your needs:

    • Ordinary membership (intended for all oto-rhino-laryngologists worldwide)
    • Associate membership (intended for scientists working in other fields)
    • Junior membership (intended for young specialists in otorhinolaryngology serving as residents)
    • Young ELS membership (intended for residents under the age of 40, valid for a maximum of two years)

    Young ELS and Junior membership application

    Young ELS membership

    Residents under the age of 40 at the time of application are eligible for the Young ELS membership. This membership will automatically terminate at the end of the calendar year in which the member turns 40. To become a Young ELS member and maintain this type of membership, you must submit a signed Young ELS Membership Certificate annually at the start of each calendar year to confirm your residency status. This certificate must be uploaded to your profile within the gMem membership system. The Young ELS Membership is valid for a maximum of two years; afterwards, you can transition to a Junior or Ordinary Membership based on eligibility.

    Junior membership
    Otorhinolaryngologists in training may apply for Junior Membership, valid for up to five years. To become a Junior member and maintain this type of membership, you must submit a signed Junior Membership Certificate annually at the start of each calendar year to confirm your residency status. This certificate must be uploaded to your profile within the gMem membership system. Junior Members who have completed their training or have held a Junior membership for five years are required to transition to Ordinary Membership in the following administrative year.
